Yesterday evening I had the privilege to visit my grandmother in law for a cup of tee. I came to the conclusion we weren’t the only visitors when we entered, the nephew of my girlfriend was there as well.

I soon started a conversation with the young one about what he had been doing during the day since it currently is excellent weather in the Netherlands… when I came to the conclusion that I was dealing with a 7 year old gaming genius. The little man had been playing Oblivion on his Xbox360 during the whole (most excellent summer) day Cheesy

Funny thing is that the little man knew about mages, guilds, assassins and more while he was telling me later on he learned a new English word at school, namely: bird.

That funny fact struck me quite hard. It seems it’s better to give a kid a computer game(in a specific language the kid should learn) he likes and wants to play a lot then teaching him boring languages at school Cheesy

Just felt like sharing my after dinner cup of tee experience Wink

As in the near future we plan to migrate to the new Vbulletin Forum template we are also looking into a new style for the forum.

Since the presentation of the forum is always of great importance and always a good subject of discussion I thought it would be good to have this discussion before the actuall release(for a change Cheesy).

So let us know what you think, maybe we can use your input for the final decision.

definition:
Unique - a different password for each account
Random - one generated using a program or another system

I currently use a set of 4 (reasonably) secure passwords that i use for everyday things.  But i have recently been wondering about upgrading my security using a simple program called Keepass which I would then carry around on my pen drive - remember one unique password - and use this program to insert all my other random passwords into the programs.

The only thing is - I have *never* had a security breech due to bad passwords.  So it does kind of make me wonder how important it is.  And seeing as i dont really have anything secretive or sensitive to protect then i think that might be going over the top a bit.

What do you all think?  And do you use similar programs/systems to keep your accounts secure?

After speaking with Vanquish recently and agreeing with his wisdom I have decided to level a few more characters.  For those who dont know, i currently have a 70 Rogue (Froggy) a 65 Warrior (Wriggle) and several level 10-30'ish alts.

As I dont have all that much time at the moment, but that might change in the future and I might want to raid/pvp seriously in the future I have decided to try and get myself a bit prepared for Wrath of the Litch King expansion pack.  I kind of feel like i missed the band wagon with all the resilience and PvE items in TBC with my rogue so it would take alot of hours for me to get up to the level where i could join a serious raiding guild or PvP team.

So instead I've decided to get my warrior and maybe a few other classes ive always wanted to play up to 70.

The first to arrive will probably be my warrior, but i also plan on leveling my hunter and maybe a paladin too Smiley

This is mainly because i quite enjoy questing and low level instances and PvP and such but also because when WotLK comes out I will be albe to choose which one i take forward first depending on buffs and nerfs with the...

In the beginning there was nothing. Well okay. There were physical stores everywhere where you could buy games. Then someone at Valve had a crazy idea of an online repository where you could buy and download your own games, called Steam (don't ask me why they called it like that, it's not the first weird name for an application).

I remember trying it for the first time a good number of years back. It was first used for their number 1 game: Half-Life and their numorous spinoffs like counterstrike. I needed the latest patch and that was only available through the Steam app. At first it was kind of a heavy program on your system that took ages the start itself and then even longer to launch the game you wanted. But since then hase been improving steadily to become a very useful tool for your gaming needs.

The upsides are plentyful:
Easy access to your games. All the game you purchased through Steam are available to you in a single list. Installing them is just a couple of clicks away. It'll then start downloading it. After the download, it'll be immediately ready for play.
Games are always up to date. Before a game...
